By downloading, installing, or using FreedomFi ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms are a legal agreement between you and KingTech Labs LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), a Massachusetts limited liability company.
Your use of the App is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/, which is incorporated herein by reference. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Apple's EULA, Apple's EULA shall control with respect to your use of the App through the App Store.
This agreement is concluded solely between you and KingTech Labs LLC. Apple Inc. is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to provide any maintenance or support services for the App. KingTech Labs LLC is solely responsible for the App and any claims you or any third party may have relating to it, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to conform to applicable legal requirements, and consumer protection or privacy claims.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance, Apple will have the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, KingTech Labs LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.
All content, features, functionality, code, design, and trademarks within FreedomFi are the property of KingTech Labs LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not sublicense, sell, resell, transfer, assign, or otherwise exploit the App or these rights.
FreedomFi is a personal finance management app. You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You agree not to:
FreedomFi is a budgeting and organizational tool only. KingTech Labs LLC is not a licensed financial advisor, investment advisor, broker, dealer, or tax professional. No use of the App creates any financial advisory, fiduciary, or professional relationship between you and KingTech Labs LLC.
All budget calculations, debt payoff projections, savings projections, spending trend analyses, net worth calculations, and other financial estimates provided through the App are based solely on data you enter and mathematical assumptions built into the App. These are estimates only. Actual results will differ. The App does not account for variable interest rates, rate changes, fees, taxes, inflation, minimum payment changes, or other real-world factors that affect financial outcomes.
KingTech Labs LLC is not responsible for any financial decisions, losses, or outcomes, including but not limited to overdraft fees, missed payments, debt defaults, investment losses, or tax liabilities, arising from your use of or reliance on the App or its calculations. You should consult a qualified financial advisor, tax professional, or attorney before making significant financial decisions.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all data you enter into the App. KingTech Labs LLC assumes no responsibility for results derived from inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information you provide.
All financial data you enter into the App is stored locally on your device using Apple's encrypted Keychain storage (SecureStore). KingTech Labs LLC does not operate any servers that store, transmit, or process your financial data. We do not have access to the financial information you enter into the App.
The App uses RevenueCat, a third-party subscription management service, which may collect anonymous device identifiers and purchase history solely for subscription management purposes. No financial data you enter into the App is shared with RevenueCat or any other third party.
Because your financial data is stored locally on your device, KingTech Labs LLC cannot recover your data if your device is lost, stolen, damaged, or reset, or if the App is deleted. You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your data using the App's export feature.
While we implement industry-standard security measures including Apple's encrypted Keychain storage, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. KingTech Labs LLC cannot guarantee absolute security of your data against all threats, including unauthorized device access.
If you enable the biometric authentication feature, KingTech Labs LLC does not store or have access to your biometric data at any time. The biometric feature relies entirely on your device's built-in security hardware. KingTech Labs LLC is not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from compromised device biometrics or passcodes.
Certain features require a paid subscription or one-time purchase ("Pro"). The following plans are currently available:
A 7-day free trial is available for new users. All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. By making a purchase, you also agree to Apple's Terms of Sale.
Auto-Renewal: Monthly and Annual subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple ID will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the then-current subscription price.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings at Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions, or at apple.com/account/subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to Pro features until the end of the paid period.
Refunds: All sales are final. Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their standard refund policy. KingTech Labs LLC does not issue refunds directly. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
Price Changes: KingTech Labs LLC reserves the right to change subscription pricing at any time. Price changes will be communicated in advance and will take effect at your next renewal date, subject to Apple's policies.
New users receive a 7-day free trial with full access to Pro features. No payment is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial period, a subscription or lifetime purchase is required to continue using Pro features. Your data will remain accessible after the trial ends; only the ability to add new items to Pro features will be restricted.
The free trial is available once per Apple ID. KingTech Labs LLC reserves the right to modify or discontinue the free trial offer at any time.
The App is provided "as available." KingTech Labs LLC does not warrant that the App will be available at all times or on any particular schedule. The App may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, third-party service outages (including Apple's App Store, Apple Keychain, or RevenueCat), or events outside our control.
KingTech Labs LLC reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or functionality of the App at any time, with or without notice, without liability to you or any third party.
We may release updates, patches, or new versions of the App from time to time. Some updates may be required for continued use of the App or to maintain compatibility with iOS. We are under no obligation to maintain any particular feature set.
In the event KingTech Labs LLC discontinues the App entirely, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to provide at least 30 days advance notice via in-app notification. Before the discontinuation date, you should export your data using the App's export feature, as KingTech Labs LLC cannot recover data stored on your device after the App is removed.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, KingTech Labs LLC's total cumulative liability arising out of or related to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts paid by you for the App in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the claim, or (b) fifty dollars ($50.00).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liability. To the extent such limitations are not permitted in your jurisdiction, KingTech Labs LLC's liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless KingTech Labs LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your access to or use of the App in violation of these Terms; (b) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; or (c) your infringement of any intellectual property or other rights of any third party. This indemnification obligation survives termination of these Terms.
You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. government embargo or that has been designated by the U.S. government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Step 1 – Informal Resolution. Before filing any formal claim, you agree to contact us at support@kingtechlabs.com describing the dispute and your desired resolution. Both parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution for 30 days before pursuing formal proceedings.
Step 2 – Small Claims Court. If informal resolution fails, either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court in your county of residence or in Massachusetts, provided the claim qualifies under the court's jurisdictional limits.
Step 3 – Binding Arbitration. Any dispute not resolved through Steps 1 or 2 shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall be conducted remotely unless otherwise agreed. KingTech Labs LLC will pay all JAMS filing and arbitration fees beyond the first $250 paid by you. The arbitrator may award the same remedies available in a court of law.
Class Action Waiver. YOU AND KINGTECH LABS LLC AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.
Arbitration Opt-Out. You may opt out of the arbitration agreement within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing support@kingtechlabs.com with the subject line "Arbitration Opt-Out." Opting out does not affect any other provision of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of law principles, except to the extent preempted by federal law. Subject to the arbitration agreement above, any disputes not subject to arbitration shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts.
KingTech Labs LLC shall not be liable for any delay or failure in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including without limitation acts of God, internet or telecommunications outages, actions of third-party platforms (including Apple's App Store, RevenueCat, or iCloud), natural disasters, or government actions.
KingTech Labs LLC reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice via an in-app notification. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the App.
KingTech Labs LLC may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, third parties, or the integrity of the App. Upon termination, your license to use the App ceases immediately. Sections 5, 6, 10, 11, 12, 14, and 15 survive termination.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and KingTech Labs LLC with respect to the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
